More Texans would support Matthew McConaughey for governor over incumbent: Poll

Voters in Texas say they would back Matthew McConaughey for governor over incumbent Greg Abbott, according to a new poll.

The survey, conducted by The Dallas Morning News and the University of Texas at Tyler, found 45 per cent of voters would support Mr McConaughey if he ran.
